Important Payment Information

Consultations cost $191.00 and include a review of your medical and dental history, an oral examination and radiographic imaging in our practice where possible. Occasionally we may need to refer you to other dental or medical providers as part of this process. In most cases, we’re able to provide a treatment plan at your initial consultation but occasionally we may need to bring you in for a follow-up appointment to present a more complex and detailed treatment plan.

Each patient’s treatment plan is customised for their needs, however, please find below a price guide for some of our more common treatments:

Initial periodontitis treatment: most common treatment for patients undergoing periodontitis treatment for the first time. Includes initial consultation, full mouth debridement (non-surgical deep cleaning) and first review after 3 months: $3000-$3500
Management of severe gingivitis: for patients with significant gum inflammation who do have loss of tooth supporting structures, deep cleaning costs range from $400 to $1300 for full mouth cleaning
Periodontal and peri-implant surgery: for patients who require surgical intervention for their periodontitis or peri-implant disease, prices range from $800 to $3000 per quadrant (quarter or section) of your mouth.
Single dental implants: the cost of placing a single dental implant fixture without grafting begins at $2500 for a simple implant without bone grafting. Following 3 to 4 months of healing, a porcelain crown/tooth will be custom made to fit your dental implant fixture, costing approximately $2300 for a posterior (back of your mouth) tooth. Crowns/teeth made of other materials or for crowns/teeth for the front of your mouth, additional costs may apply due to the increased aesthetic demand. In many cases, your referring dentist may be able to complete the custom-made crown/tooth.
Bone and/or gum grafting: Grafting procedures as part of dental implant therapy, periodontal regeneration, or as a standalone procedure, can range in cost for $495 to $1800 per tooth/implant, depending on the nature of the procedure.
Management of receding gums and/or crown lengthening: costs range from $650 to $3000, depending on the number of teeth and products used.
Ongoing maintenance: for patients on our periodontal maintenance program (following periodontitis or peri-implantitis treatment) costs range from $350 to $550 per visit.
We understand that achieving a healthy, aesthetic and functional smile can be a significant financial investment. Our practice has EFTPOS facilities for credit and debit card payments, as well as HICAPS claiming for on-the-spot health fund claims. We're also able to offer payment plans through Zip Pay, and in some cases you may be able to access your superannuation.
